Sun Citys Palm Valley opened in 1989 as the first of the three courses to be built in this planned city by Golf-Summerlan. This par 72 course is the longest, playing to 6,580 yds, and its rating/slope of 72/127 also ranks it as the most difficult of the three. Palm Valleys 4 par 5s are medium in length, the first and last being the longest. On the other hand, the 177 yd 3rd hole is the shortest of the four par 3s.
