Vancouver Golf: Furry Creek Golf Course

Furry Creek Golf Course, 50 minutes north of Vancouver, BC, is one of the most scenic courses on the west coast, combining tough mountainside shot making with panoramic water and mountain scenery on virtually every hole.

You will also find the drive to the course on the Sea to Sky highway one of the most enjoyable drives you will ever take. The front nine reflects a true mountain layout, demanding careful course management, and featuring several ravine-spanning shots. The back nine opens with the type of hole that appeals to the adventurer in all of us. Dropping 165 vertical feet from the tee to the fairway, the ocean and mountain backdrop to this hole challenges the most focused player to concentrate on his/her tee shot. From here, the track rises, then falls again, culminating at the par 3, 200-yard signature 14th Hole show at the top. Variously described as the most difficult and most beautiful golf hole in British Columbia, the 14th Hole features a peninsula green virtually surrounded by the waters of Howe Sound. A must play while in Vancouver.
